What happens if I leave the rally? Will my phone continue tracking?
You can stop the tracking at any time, but even if you forget to stop the tracking, the app will automatically stop tracking once you are off of the route more than 500ft for 20 minutes, or more than 1 mile for 5 minutes (unless manually overridden by you)
What if I stop to get gas? Will I lose everyones location?
Provided you stay within 500ft of the route, your app will continue to give you updates of those in front of you. If you travel beyond 500ft from the 'mapped' route, you will recieve a message that asks if you want to continue tracking, if you do not respond to the message, all tracking functions will stop. Otherwise you can get gas and still have the map to follow, and still see everyones location when you are filled up (just in case you want to find a faster route to catch up)!
Can I make and store my own routes?
If you have purchased a "Creator" level subscription or higher, you can create maps to share with others. Maps can be made on your phone, or computer. You can add waypoints and subtract waypoints - and if you are the 'creator' you can even edit the map while you are running it! Don't worry, when you save it, it will automatically update on everyones phone!
You can store past maps to use again in the future (or edit old maps to make slightly different routes to add to your library).
You will have several options to share your route with others. If the person you share it with is not currently at the starting point of the route, then they will be navigated from wherever they currently are, to the starting point of the rally.
Does using this app increase my battery usage?
Yes. Navigation apps tend to drain your battery faster due to being open all the time, and using tracking services (GPS, Cell Tower Locators, etc). If possible, keep your phone plugged in, use "battery saver" or reduce the screen brightness while in use.
